Thursday, October 1 — Delayed Facility Opening & Pool Closed

Dear YWCO Community,

Following today’s facility closure, we want to provide a little additional information.

During ongoing work related to preparation for the pool’s HVAC/air-handling system, an issue occurred involving ductwork in the pool area. Out of an abundance of caution, we immediately cleared the area and closed the facility.

We are working with the appropriate personnel to address the affected area, complete necessary cleanup and follow-up work, and ensure everything is ready for normal operations.

The pool will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday, October 1. The facility will also have a delayed opening Thursday morning. We will provide an update as soon as possible regarding the facility’s opening time for Thursday and pool hours for Friday, October 2.

We know that unexpected closures and schedule changes can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we take the time necessary to address the situation properly.

The safety and well-being of our members, participants, staff, and community are our highest priority.
