It all started …

In 1906 when the YWCO opened its doors on Broad Street, its focus was on providing social interaction, meals, shelter, and other needs of young working women. Today, 114 years later the YWCO has expanded its programming to promote healthy lifestyles through recreation, physical fitness activities, and social interaction among children, families and senior adults in the Athens area.
