A Night of Family Fun Awaits at the YWCO

We are so excited to welcome our YWCO members, families, friends, and community partners to our Tricks, Treats & Trunks on Thursday, October 22 from 5:00–8:00 PM for an evening filled with Halloween fun, creativity, and community connection.

As we get closer to the big night, we wanted to share a reminder about everything happening and a few ways you can get involved!

TRUNK-OR-TREATING

One of the biggest highlights of the evening will be our Trunk-or-Treat, where families can walk from decorated vehicle to decorated vehicle collecting treats and enjoying all the creativity our community has to offer!

If you are a YWCO member, and would like to set up a trunk, we ask that you please complete our trunk registration form.

Please complete the form by Thursday, October 8 at 12:00 PM so we can collect everyone's information and have an accurate count of participating trunks as we finalize our event layout and logistics.

Sign up to bring a trunk:

If you're bringing a trunk, we encourage you to get creative and have fun! Decorate your vehicle, dress up in costume, and create a fun experience for the children and families attending. Decorating and dressing up are encouraged but not required.

Each participating trunk will also be responsible for providing its own candy or healthy treat to hand out during the event.

VOLUNTEER WITH US!

Want to be part of the action without bringing a trunk? We would love to have our YWCO members volunteer!

There will be several opportunities to help throughout the event, from assisting with activities and games to helping make the Spooky Trail a fun experience for our guests.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to get involved, meet other members of our community, and help make this event special for the families who attend.

If you would like to volunteer, please complete our volunteer form below:

Whether you can volunteer for the entire evening or help for a portion of the event, we appreciate every helping hand!

HELP US DECORATE!

We are also still accepting Halloween decoration donations to help transform the YWCO into a fun and festive Halloween experience!

If you have extra Halloween decorations at home that you would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. Decorations can include things such as:

🎃 Pumpkins

👻 Ghosts

🕷️ Spider webs

🕸️ Halloween signs

🦇 Bats

💀 Spooky decorations

🍂 Fall-themed decorations

🎃 Anything that can help bring our event to life!

Donations can be dropped off at the YWCO front desk in our Halloween decoration donation bin.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us create a more memorable experience for the children and families who attend.

👻 WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Tricks, Treats & Trunks event will include:

Trunk-or-Treating

Spooky Trail

Fall-themed games and activities

Costume Contest

Best Decorated Trunk Contest

DJ and music

Bounce house

Plenty of treats

And lots of Halloween fun!

Our goal is to create an evening where families can come together, enjoy the Halloween season, and experience the incredible sense of community that makes the YWCO so special.

LET'S MAKE THIS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!

Events like this don't happen without the support of our members and our community. Whether you bring a trunk, volunteer your time, donate decorations, or simply come out and enjoy the evening with your family, you are helping make this event possible.

We want Tricks, Treats & Trunks to be more than just a Halloween event. We want it to be an opportunity for our YWCO family to come together, connect with one another, welcome new faces, and create memories that families will carry with them long after the pumpkins are put away.

So grab your costumes, start thinking about your trunk decorations, and get ready for a night of spooky fun!
