Belly Dancing

Bellydance offers physical exercise as well as an opportunity for creative expression. Bellydance enhances coordination and stamina and leads to heightened body awareness. Instructor, Mari Baker has always been intrigued by all things Asian and Middle Eastern which led her to bellydance. Following a devastating leg injury she credits her improving health, weight loss and the strengthening of her injured leg to the dancing that she loves. "Bellydance is about mind and body. It offers healing, relaxation, and fun. It is beauty in motion."
