Mind and Body
Hatha Yoga: Asanas (physical postures) and pranayama (breathing) are incorporated into the 12-14 basic yoga poses and variations. This class is a continual learning process without pressure to perform and encourages mind, spirit, and body integration.
Pilates: Pilates is a world-renowned method of conditioning and strengthening created in the 1930’s by Joseph Pilates. Using the mind to control the body, this class emphasizes elongation of the muscles while developing a sustained strength of the spine and torso (the core).
Tai Chi: Enhance relaxation. increase flexibility and balance and teach one how to coordinate the mind and muscles.

- Tai Chi meets outside, weather permitting
- YWCO reserves the right to cancel classes if minimum enrollment requirements are not met. Requirements vary from class to class.
