What's Happening at the YWCO?

There will be no classes September 6 - 11.  Our instructors are taking a week off to prepare for fall.   The YWCO pool and weight room are open for workouts and lap swim. 

Sign up now for fall classes.  Note that we have a number of 30 minute classes so if you don't have a lot of time, you can still get in a workout.  We have also set up the 30 minute schedule so if you want a full hour you can still get both your cardio and weight training in an hour time period.  We hope you will enjoy this new format!

GOOD NEWS!!!

The board of Directors of the YWCO has heard from the membership and responded.  At a meeting on July 26th the Board voted unanimously to renovate and continue to operate our Athens facility and gym in addition to expanding to Oconee County.

If you and your spouse both come to the YWCO to work out, you both need to check in at the front desk. 

It is hot and humid.  Make sure to drink plenty of water.

Thanks, Larry Fusillo.  Larry has planted tomato plants by the Ann Florence Center.  There should be lots of tomotoes for our members to share.

The YWCO has a Automated External Defibrillator (AED).  It is located in the Aquatics office.

The YWCO has gone wireless.  There is wireless access throughout the YWCO, including the Ann Florence Center.
